Level 1 – New
Level 2 – Some experience.

Lindsey Ogilvie
Player Development

Lindsey is currently the Director of Player Development at VMSA and oversees development and delivery of VMSA’s skills clinics and player development strategies.
During her 15+ year softball career, Lindsey has had the privilege of representing Team BC at the Canada Summer Games & the Canadian Junior National Team at the 2013 ISF Junior Women’s World Championship. She was also a member of the University of British Columbia varsity softball team, the UBC Thunderbirds, for four years, earning multiple conference awards and a nomination for Graduating Female Athlete of the Year in her final season.
Lindsey has been a coach/skills instructor with VMSA for the last five years and is NCCP & CanPitch trained.
As a coach, Lindsey aims to create a safe, fun, and encouraging competitive environment for all players, and hopes to pass on her love of softball to the next generation of players.
Zoe Gillis
Senior Development Coach
Zoe played varsity softball at UBC for the UBC Thunderbirds from 2014-2018 and continued with the program for two years as a volunteer assistant and pitching coach. In 2019, she played in the Netherlands for the Tex Town Tigers, competing in the Dutch Golden league. Zoe also competed in the 2019 European Cup in Bollate, Italy with a team from France.
She has been coaching youth in greater Vancouver for several years and continued instructing youth pitchers while living in Holland. Zoe was also an assistant coach for the women’s second team from Tex Town.
She is keen to continue coaching and developing the current and future players of softball.


Lauren Du Toit
Senior Development Coach
Lauren has played softball for 18 years. She started playing in Vienna (Austria), and after moving to Canada for university, continued her career as a member of the UBC Thunderbirds varsity softball program.
Lauren has also had the privilege of representing Austria as a member of their National team for several years, playing in 7 European Championships and 1 World Championship.
When it comes to coaching, Lauren aims to encourage players to improve their skills, remain open to learning, and have fun while doing it!
